Outreach Ministry
The Church teaches that we encounter Christ in the poor. When we provide direct service to the poor, minister to those on life's margins, address issues of justice in our community, and advocate for peace, we are not just doing good deeds, but we are serving Christ himself. Christian service to others, therefore, is a part of a life of faith and prayer.
Maria Lanakila has a broad and comprehensive Outreach Ministry that seeks to assist those in need and to educate our parish about issues of justice - locally, nationally, and globablly.
